Labor of Love Thrive Fest

As the impact of the pandemic continues, many are still struggling with job loss, mental health concerns, addiction, and food insecurity. The goal of this event is to bring the community together for a day of accessing resources and fun for the whole family, with the hope of
combatting some of the devastating effects of this past year.
Admission to the Labor of Love Thrive Fest will be free. This event is open to the public of all ages. Resources and giveaways will be provided while supplies lasts.
The Recovery Coalition of Scioto County, Ohio Laborers’ Local 83 and Thrive for Change are proud to be hosting the Labor of Love Thrive Fest on August 28th from 10am-3pm at Spartan Municipal Stadium located at 56 James Street in Portsmouth.
This outdoor event will feature live music, giveaways, kids activities, free lunch, wellness checks, a community resource fair, and more!

The Recovery Coalition is about putting on events in the Recovery Community for people in recovery or people who use drugs to have a place to go enjoy themselves. All events are Free.
Thrive for Change is a nonprofit subsidiary of Thrive Peer Support, an organization that offers peer recovery support to individuals confronted with mental health or substance use concerns. Thrive for Change’s mission is to restore hope, reduce harm, and positively change lives in communities of need through holistic and collaborative initiatives.
